Image History

Ain't Dere No More Collection

Katz & Besthoff introduced a chain of drug stores, beginning on Canal Street in 1905. K & B’s popular purple signs evolved into an iconic part of New Orleans’ landscape. Rite Aid bought the beloved K&B chain in 1997. Still to this day, many native New Orleanians lovingly refer to the color purple as “K&B purple” in conversation.

NOTICE: Bottle stoppers are for short term use not to exceed one week at a time. They are for display and serving not long term storage which can cause pitting and flaking of the metal due to acidic buildup in the wine from oxidation. These stoppers should never be used on bottles containing vinegar due to the high acidic content.
