Image History

Ain't Dere No More Collection

Rosenberg’s Furniture was located at 1825 Tulane Avenue. Native New Orleanians everywhere can sing their iconic commercial verbatim! The famous commercial jingle was sung by Betsy Elliot. Betsy was 4 years old when she recorded the jingle in the 1950s for a radio commercial made by her parents, who were in the advertising business. Her popularity grew and she appeared on television. Everybody knew that 1825 Tulane Ave. was where you could find Rosenberg's Furniture Store!

When customers enter my art market booth and see the Rosenberg’s products, they begin to sing the famous song, “Rosenberg’s! Rosenberg’s! 1825 Tuu-lane!” Inevitably, everyone around chimes in and then bursts into smiles.
